EVENT OBJECTIVE


Focuses on the themes of reconnecting with learning, knowledge sharing and being inspired to fulfill education, professional and business potential. This global education and business forum presents attendees opportunities to learn about the pathways and successes that alumni have achieved, to gain insights into Cambodia's position in the world, and provides a platform for high-level discussions and interactive panel sessions with alumni leaders in government, business and civil society. The Happy Hour & Networking Cocktail Reception allows conversations to continue in a more relaxed atmosphere and for delegates to meet up and share experiences.


Hosts education representatives from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom and the Asian region as well as local & international companies, recruitment agencies and international governments to attract parents and students from all levels of study from high school to PhD. Students will be seeking guidance on and counselling from education and company representatives on destination and institution strengths, course options and the career paths open to them. Education and employer booths, presentations and sector-specific panel discussions allow for a high level of personal interaction to present students and parents with the best options and choices for them.


Showcases the benefits of world class education systems and the opportunities they provide with alumni and key local and international stakeholders. The gala dinner event will celebrate education opportunities and achievements with attendees including graduates from all around the globe, representatives from local and international institutions, high-ranking officials from ministries and embassies, directors, CEOs and senior executives from business and civil society and senior IDP Education staff.

The nation’s senior minds from the government, business, and diplomatic sectors will again gather in their hundreds at the 3rd Annual Global Alumni Convention (GAC) in Phnom Penh November 2017.

After the success of the inaugural GAC in 2015, the second GAC in 2016 was well supported by more institutions, sponsors and speakers. The GAC2016 hosted 500 delegates of 20 nationalities graduating from 22 countries and heard from 70 high profile speakers who are leaders in their profession. The GAC2017 will continue to expand the scope of the event and your presence will help consolidate this forum that we believe is contributing to the growth and quality of education and business in Cambodia.
